Contemporary Scandinavian-style wooden house "Scandinavia - 100"

This concise wooden house represents the next step in the development of the traditional Nordic building idea. Essentially, it is a frame filled with laminated beam which at the same time retains simple forms, scarce decor and natural wooden texture inherent to all timber buildings.
building facade, terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows
Modern methods of window production made it possible to introduce large glass surfaces without losing any heat conservation qualities.
The shape of the roof gives it a levitating feel.
building facade turned to the forest, balcony, pitched roof, large windows
living room interior design - view to the mail window pane
The owners of the house - a young couple with children - value minimalism, order and open space. All three of these characteristics are almost ideally realized in this house - both in its exterior look and interior design.
